West Coast Clinical Trials considers itself the premier site for recruitment of Japanese subjects for bridging studies. Currently, we have over 850 Japanese subjects in our database that are interested in clinical trials. There are an additional 5,000 subjects available from a contracted agency's database. WCCT has bilingual staff (Japanese recruiters and Japanese CRC=TBC) and is located within 5 miles of several local colleges, many of which enroll Japanese students (e.g. Cal State Long Beach, Long Beach City College, Vanguard, Soka, University of California - Irvine, Cerritos College, Orange Coast College). In fact, Soka University in Orange County is dedicated to Japanese students. There are several  Japanese communities within a 12 mile radius of WCCT. The demographics prove that Los Angeles and Orange counties are numbers, 1 and 3 respectively, in terms of Asian population growth.

The demographics of the Japanese population show that there are several local communities in the vicinity of the WCCT unit. In fact, the top five communities that house the highest number of Japanese in Orange County are all located close by the Cypress facility.
