West Coast Clinical Trials Welcomes Thomas J. Pillsworth Jr., Ph.D as New VP of Business Development

Cypress, CA / June 15, 2009 / - West Coast Clinical Trials, LLC (WCCT) is pleased to announce and welcome Thomas J. Pillsworth, Jr., Ph.D as vice president, business development. Dr. Pillsworth has over 23 years of combined CRO and pharmaceutical experience. Prior to joining WCCT, Dr. Pillsworth served as vice president, business development at PharmaNet in both the early and late stage divisions and has held business development management positions at Inveresk and Phoenix International Life Sciences. Prior to working in the CRO sector, Dr. Pillsworth spent eight years at Hoechst-Roussel in the scientific affairs an clinical development departments.

Dr. Pillsworth holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry/biophysics, a master's in physiology and a Ph.D. in pharmacology and has completed a fellowship in laboratory medicine. Dr. Pillsworth brings an excellent combination of experience and knowledge to WCCT.
