West Coast Clinical Trials at FDA Public Hearing on Over the Counter Cough and Cold Medications for Pediatric

October 2, 2008 / Beltsville, MD /- Dr Kenneth Kim testified in front of the FDA on his perspective, giving practical advice over the use of OTC cough and cold preparations for children at a US FDA Public Hearing regarding “ Over the Counter Cough and Cold Medications for Pediatric".  As a result of the citizens petition, drug manufacturers voluntarily are changing labels to indicate that OTC children’s cough and cold medications should not be administered to children younger than age 4. WCCT is currently performing studies on OTC children’s cough and cold medications.
