Our
outpatient facilities are capable of
performing many technical procedures
including, but not limited to, IV
infusion, cortosyn stimulation,
pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic
sampling, pulmonary function
testing, electrocardiogram, stadiometry,
and phlebotomy. Our site
features state-of-the-art equipment
including multiple spirometry units,
multiple ECG machines, stadiometer,
treadmill equipment, -80° freezer,
patient exam rooms, and a private
conference room for monitors.
In addition to the outpatient
facilities, WCCT’s fully
self-sufficient, 120 bed
Phase I overnight facility is able to meet
the needs of the simplest phase I
study to the more complex multiple
day/multiple arm studies involving
complex procedures. Our facility
features equipment such as
refrigerated centrifuges, -80° freezer,
multiple EKGs, atomic clocks to
ensure adherence to
protocol-specific timelines, and
other equipment and materials
necessary to successfully execute a
study. In addition, the facility
features satellite TV and other
amenities to ensure the comfort of
our volunteers which increases
compliance and decrease overall drop out
rates.
